Tomato Aspic


A refreshing taste of vegetable juice taking into account bearing in mind crisp chopped celery and onion. Lovely served as a side to my Ham Salad for Two, or any supplementary further salad one wants. Makes a lovely colorful be next to to a summer evening salad plate.

The ingredient of Tomato Aspic

  1. 1 (.25 ounce) envelope unflavored gelatin
  2. u00bc cup boiling water
  3. 2 cups vegetable juice (such as V-8u00ae)
  4. 1 dash Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
  5. 1 bay leaf
  6. 2 cloves
  7. u00bd cup chopped onion
  8. u00bd cup chopped celery

The instruction how to make Tomato Aspic

  1. Fully withdraw gelatin in boiling water in a mixing bowl.
  2. tally up vegetable juice, worcestershire sauce, bay leaf, and cloves in a saucepan; bring to a boil, condense abbreviate heat to low, and simmer 10 minutes. Remove and discard the bay leaf and cloves.
  3. protest onion and celery into vegetable juice.
  4. Pour vegetable juice fusion more than dissolved gelatin; stir up gently to blend.
  5. Refrigerate until set completely, just about 1 hour.
